2. Extract the contents of the update.zip package on your PC.
3. Create a new folder named “dload” in the external SD card or internal memory of your device.
4. Transfer the extracted Update.app package to the dload folder you just created.
5. Now turn your device off.
6. Next, hold Vol down + Vol up + Power for a few seconds to initiate the upgrade process.

Installation

1. Make sure you own the European Honor 5X model with a C432 based firmware.
2. Download the update.zip package from above and extract it.
3. Copy the extracted Update.app file (present in firmware > image) to the “dload” folder of your external microSD card (create one if needed).
4. Disconnect the USB cable and open the dialer app.
5. Dial *#*#2846579#*#* to access the Project menu.
6. Go to Software Update > SDcard Upgrade and confirm the update installation.

This update brings several enhancements to photo management, compass, alarm and contacts. You’ll now also be able to stop a message from being sent up to 4 seconds after sending it.
