How to Update

Compatibility: This firmware is only recommended for Vodafone based devices that are already running a C02 firmware onboard.

1. Download the update.zip package from above and extract it on your computer.
2. Create a new folder “dload” in the external microSD card or the internal memory of your phone.
3. Copy the extracted UPDATE.APP file to the newly created dload folder on your device.
4. Now open the dialer app and enter *#*#2846579#*#*
5. In the menu, go to Software Upgrade > SDCard Upgrade > “Ok”
6. Now download the patch file from the above-mentioned link and extract it.
7. Replace the previous UPDATE.APP package in your phone’s dload folder with the UPDATE.APP package you obtain from extracting the patch file.
8. Now install the patch file in the same way using the dialer method (step 4 – 5).

How to Update

1. Download the update.zip and update_full_hw_eu.zip files from the aforementioned links.
2. Create a new folder named “dload” in the external microSD card of your device.
3. Next, extract the downloaded update.zip package and copy the UPDATE.APP file to the newly-created dload folder.
4. Take a full backup of all your important data and turn your phone off.
5. Now hold Volume up + Volume down + Power for a few seconds to start the installation.
6. In case the software version in Settings > About Phone does not reflect the new updated version, follow the steps below otherwise you’re good to go!

EU Cust Installation

1. Once the installation completes and your device starts up, remove the UPDATE.APP file from its dload folder.
2. Now extract the update_full_hw_eu.zip package you downloaded in the first step and copy its UPDATE.APP file to the same dload folder (it shouldn’t contain any other file).
3. Finally install this file using the exact same method (Steps 4-5).

3. Copy the extracted UPDATE.APP package to the new dload directory.
4. [Optional] Take a full backup of your data using your preferred tool.
5. Now unplug the USB cable and turn your phone off.
6. Hold Volume down + Volume up + Power keys for a few seconds to start the update.
