How to Update

This method requires your phone to have a custom recovery like TWRP installed which, in turn, needs an unlocked bootloader. When you’re all set just follow these steps to install the new update:

1. Download “update.zip” and “update_full_hw_ru.zip” files from above and copy them to your phone as-is (without extracting).
2. Unplug the USB cable and reboot your phone in recovery mode.
3. Once you’re in TWRP, the first thing that you need to do is take a full backup of all the partitions and store them in the external memory.
4. Now, go to Install, local the “update.zip” package and confirm its installation.
5. Repeat the above step and this time install the second package (update_full_hw_ru.zip).
6. Upon completion, reboot your device normally.

Updating Instructions

2. Create a new folder “dload” in the external microSD card (recommended) or the internal memory.
3. Copy the extracted UPDATE.APP package to the newly created dload folder.
4. Unplug the USB cable and turn your phone off.
5. Now hold Volume up + Volume down + Power for a few seconds until your phone starts up and begins to update.

3. Now turn off your phone and reboot into TWRP.
4. First take a full backup if you haven’t already and save it in the external microSD card.
5. Finally, return to the main screen and install both the packages – “update.zip” first.
